Ayurveda Yoga Holiday - a spiritual holiday in India

Welcome to Shree Bindu Sewa Sansthan!

The Ashram in Vrindavan, India

Located in majestic Vrindavan, India, our Ashram is open to all visitors. An Ashram is a spiritual centre in which one can come and learn. There is a lot of mystic surrounding the term Ashram as it works its way into western mainstream but simply put an Ashram is a place of study and sharing. Each will offer a unique encounter, sadly more and more Ashrams are converting into a cheap hotel experience instead of the true spiritual adventure they were intended to be. We are not a hotel and are pleased to open our doors for anyone who feels a connection with the Ashram and who is interested in our projects.

In 1995 Swami Balendu Ji founded the Ashram in his hometown, a place where he and his family could all live together. The purpose of Shree Bindu Sewa Sansthan is to provide a home not only for him and his family but also to a number of students between the age of 12 and 20 who receive a spiritual education. They learn Yoga, Meditation and Sanskrit literature from experienced and qualified teachers. Their education and full board is free of charge, this means that their families are not burdened with financial pressure; the students learn and grow in a positive, loving and spiritual environment.

Also on the grounds of Shree Bindu Sewa Sansthan is our Charity School which was opened to provide education to children of poor families of Vrindavan. Any interested visitor to India is welcome to visit the school and stay at the Ashram.

Many people are paid to work at the Ashram to keep it functioning, maintaining the building and garden and keeping the facilities nice and clean. Our children charity projects are growing and we invite you to come and see what we have already accomplished.

At certain times of the year the Ashram also organizes spiritual retreats, ayurvedic getaways and yoga holidays and trainings. It is the perfect place for those who want to get to know themselves better, who want to rejuvenate the body, relax the mind and refreshen the soul! Of course the profit of these retreats fully supports the children charity projects.

We welcome you to explore not only this webpage but also the Ashram itself on your next journey to India.
